Our client, based in Leeds are looking for a market development executive to work within their telemarketing team.
For the right person:
* You will manage and develop New Business opportunities to ensure that the Client Management Team achieves new business targets as set by the business.
* You will manage existing accounts to maximise volume/contribution and profit, ensuring our position as a first line financial provider.
* Through close contact with the National Sales Manager and Business Development Manager[s] you will identify the most efficient way to manage and develop sector[s] and administer and manage manufacturers and buying group promotions within sector[s] as well as providing support to our retail customers.
* You will provide central support to the relevant Business Development Manager[s], Sales team and Head of Sales and handle new retailer enquiries and prospecting campaigns in conjunction with Marketing.
Additionally expectation will be to:
* Achieve your territory targets and maintain and control the quality of the business.
* Maintain call cycle plan from agreed sales development strategy.
* Update and maintain retailer record cards on Sales force to a set criterion, and ensure records are clean.
* Answer inbound calls and respond to retailer and sales team queries, providing administrative support as requested where Sale Support are unable to fulfil the request.
* To assist in prospecting campaigns, assisting marketing team where required.
* To deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers
* To compile business case and / or data in report format as required by the Head of Sales or members of the Business Development team, including competitor analysis, performance against target and retailer reviews
* To attend exhibitions, buying group and association forums thereby building strong brand awareness in our chosen and future markets

Relevant Skills and Qualifications:
IT Literate
Past Experience Required:
Call centre or direct sales/ account management background preferred.
Consumer finance or other financial services background preferred.
