A newly established practice in Huddersfield have a fantastic opportunity for an accounts assistant to join team.
Working from smart offices in a converted town house within easy walking distance of the town centre, the firm have doubled their client base in 6 months providing a range of accountancy services, predominantly to local businesses. In addition to the preparation of accounts, you will enjoy a wide range of duties including personal and business tax, some payroll, management accounts and bookkeeping. Working alongside an qualified accountant, you will be given the freedom and responsibility to see jobs through from start to finish, whilst having the help and support of an experienced professional.
All candidates require some good practice experience, and you must have prepared accounts before. A knowledge of tax and management accounts would be a bonus, although candidates without direct experience of this will also be welcomed. Qualifications are not essential, however my client is very willing to support study towards the AAT or ACCA depending upon the successful candidates requirements. You should have a positive attitude to work and learning, and have a professional and polite demeanour, due to the client contact that you will enjoy.
