An excellent opportunity for any experienced bookkeepers to join a leading firm of accountants in Huddersfield.
Based in the centre of Huddersfield, the firm have an excellent reputation and offer the full range of accountancy services including year end accounts, audits, tax advisory, payroll and bookkeeping. Clients tend to be based in West Yorkshire, and are predominantly owner managed businesses.
Your role would see you working as a bookkeeper, assisting a variety of clients with accounts to trial balance, Sage and Quickbooks training, purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and possibly some payroll. In essence you would perform all the usual duties that a standalone bookkeeper would do in industry, but would simply work with different clients. As such this role will offer greater variety and a real challenge to any experienced bookkeeper.
All candidates will require some good experience, and those candidates who have already worked in a practice environment will be at an advantage. However this is not essential, and all that is required is some relevant experience and a professional and dedicated approach to work. You will enjoy lots of client contact, and must be well presented and happy to discuss queries with clients over the telephone.
