HGV MECHANIC

Recruiting now, this Vehicle Leasing organisation is seeking 2 Fleet Controllers to work day shifts at their offices in North Leeds.

The Position
• Responsible for dealing with commercial vehicle breakdowns in a quick and effective manner over the telephone.
• Dealing with any commercial vehicle defects and repairs
• Liaising with both operators (customers) and repair agents
• Issuing order numbers to suppliers
• Inputting order number requests onto the fleet management database
• Auditing vehicle/trailer inspection sheets
• Analysing system generated data
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly vehicle/fleet reports

The Candidate
• The successful candidate will have a mechanical background working with commercial vehicles, ideally HGV’s
• Candidates will need to be able to work under constant pressure from both operators and supplier
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior members of staff
• Ideal candidates must have excellent organisation skills and be able to work on their own initiative
• A high degree of flexibility is required.

Monday to Friday shifts 7am to 4pm / 10am to 7pm

Salary £16,000 - £20,000 depending upon experience
