Job Description
Our client is currently looking for an experienced production planner to join them. Responsibilities Position requires a structured people person, who has a strong background and understanding of supervising production and distribution. Many of the admin duties of this post are paper-based the successful candidate will need to have strong IT skills. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing throughput and keeping a tight control on budgets, schedules, shipments and quality alongside working in close contact with team leaders, and overseeing suppliers and customers. Qualifications With proven experience in production control, the successful candidate should also possess relevant qualifications. Alongside this they should have excellent organisational skills, good knowledge of IT as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some knowledge of shipping is useful but not essential.
