Job Description
Conveyancing Administrator
Based Leeds 15)
Salary £16,000
A superb role working for this ambitious and consistently expanding company. As a conveyancing assistant working for the administration manager in order to chase equity release applications you will be working as part of a busy team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
A presentable and highly organised individual with a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work. An effective communicator, able to deal with colleagues, clients and third party lenders and solicitors in a professional and confident manner. Must have the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines. Previous experience within a similar environment is desirable. Approachable, organised individual with a proven ability to work using own initiative in the absence of the Team Manager.
ROLE PURPOSE:
To work closely with the Team Manager to achieve targets in line with business requirements.
To ensure that all administration duties are performed to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards and quality
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MANDATORY:
Experience of a results driven role
Conveyancing Experience
DESIRED:
Financial Services Experience
Legal Assistant
KEY OUTPUTS:
To liaise closely with clients, solicitors and lenders until completion notification received
To instruct lenders re valuations and offers where required
Ensure client details are updated and maintained within main database
Ensure relevant documentation for each client is complete for files in line with company legislation
To comply with company regulations, ie Data Protection, Financial Crime, TCF, Complaints Procedure
Company archiving
Filing
To compile 3rd party referrals and submit relevant documentation
Ensure all post is sent out daily
To take responsibility for ad hoc projects as requested by the Team Manager
Other ad hoc administrative duties as required
HOURS OF WORK 37.5 per week (Hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business, therefore it is expected that the successful applicant will work those hours necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the role).
