Job Description
Team Leader - Helpline and Correspondence
Based Leeds
Salary £26,807 per annum
Hours of Work 9.00am to 5.30pm
Main duties:
To effectively manage a team of membership advisers, ensuring the provision of excellent service to members and prospective members
Recruit, train, motivate and monitor staff performance and effectiveness
Manage the team workload
Monitor the volume of incoming calls
Monitor the content and style of all outgoing correspondence for accuracy
Create new standard letters as required and regularly update the library of standard letters
Monitor the accuracy of the database
Mange the administration and information systems
Skills & Experience
You should be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar supervisory role, be confident and adept in dealing with referred enquiries and complaints as well as the challenges of supervising staff.
The role requires a confident individual with a "hands on" approach who is flexible, resilient and able to multitask. You should enjoy constant contact with members and staff and be able to anticipate and respond quickly to changes in service volume and demand. Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook is required.
