Job Description
Internet-savvy Virtual Business Administrator for a Consulting Company
Temporary with a view to go Perm
Salary – Negotiable
Leeds Area – Work from home
A niche management training and consulting business with a small team of Associates working on client sites internationally is looking to build a long term relationship with a highly organized and effective person to help with the marketing and running of their business, to include the following activities:
* Establish administrative procedures and deal with any ad-hoc requirements of administration
* Outbound and inbound calls - to clients, vendors or others (no outbound cold calling)
* Edit/improve documents, presentations and spreadsheet templates
* Organize and maintain diaries
* Travel planning and coordination
* Research - using the Internet or other information databases
* Develop and run LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter marketing campaigns
* Future improvements to website and content management
* Social Media and blog management
* Develop content under guidance, e.g. case studies, training exercises (good literacy skills essential)
* Book-keeping
Skills required - applicant should:
* Enjoy working in and organizing a small team, where perceptiveness and willingness to help is invaluable
* Strong understanding of Internet and online communication tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google Docs
* Hard-working self-starter with the ability to take initiative
* Able to multi-task and take on multiple projects
* Strong communicator with attention to detail
* Excellent English writing skills
* Marketing background
* Have past experience in a similar role(s)
Location
Working from home, all systems to be managed online and communication will occur through daily e-mail and weekly Skype calls.
I would like to find someone who can work from our offices or client-site sometimes and also work remotely, with access to our systems.
Example tasks:
* Expediting daily correspondence and filing
* Writing and publishing blog posts and email newsletters
* Researching new training courseware
* Keeping up social media presence & engaging with followers/fans
* Hiring and managing website improvements
* Co-ordinating Associates activity and support
* Design Training Course Brochures
Extra skills that would be a benefit:
* Knowledge of online marketing practices (SEO, video marketing etc)
* Word press experience
