Job Description
Installations Coordinator (LS20) 12 month FTC
Based Guiseley
Salary £25k
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
This is an exciting and challenging role working for this expanding and incredibly successful telecommunications company supporting the field, IT and systems engineers. Responsibilities will include looking after diaries and booking appointments, ordering parts, IT and telecommunications equipment and maintaining the smooth running of the installations team. You will be responding to client requests and demands, maintaining service levels and deadlines and be the point of contact between sales and installations.
Main duties:
Management of Telecoms & IT installations (liaising with the account manager, client & engineer, scheduling and planning all jobs, site surveys, arranging project documentation & job sheets)
Engineering management (managing a team of 4 engineers)
Management of service desk (logging and monitoring fault calls, scheduling engineers & preparing job sheets, quoting call out charges for non-maintained clients, fault finding & fault investigation, logging faults with third parties)
Sales support (provide support on pricing & product information, processing orders)
Line orders (processing & managing all line ordering & ADSL ordering with Network Providers)
Quotes (providing quotations for moves, adds & changes for existing clients if the account manager is not available)
Purchasing for Fixed Line department (raising all purchase orders, liaising with accounts for supplier invoicing on a regular basis)
Renewals (ensuring all renewals are processed via the account manager)
General Admin / reporting (department GP reporting, maintaining client database records, processing sale orders for invoicing)
Stock control & forecasting (carry out regular stock checks & liaise with accounts department for stock reports & work in progress reports on a monthly basis)
Skills & Experience:
A good understanding of telecommunications & IT (Samsung & Mitel system knowledge would be advantageous)
Tenacious problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
Strong organisational, time management and prioritization skills
The ability to build strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal departments and external customers
There may be some occasional travel on site to clients involved with this role. Salary up to £25,000 plus car allowance and additional company benefits. This is a superb role however only applicants with the relevant experience will be considered!!!
