Job Description

Legal Secretary £20 - £23k!!!

My client a well known law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to work in their busy Trade Marks department.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating fee earner diaries, give general administrative support to the team and act as a key contact point for clients. You will also be required to audio type and produce general letters, notes, forms and any other documentation. You will also be required to maintain the trade mark diary and ensure that all activities are accurately recorded. You will also generate standard letters during the life of a trade mark application and on the renewal of trade marks. You will have the ability to liaise with overseas associates on trademark filing and registration matters. The successful candidate will be self motivated and will take a professional approach to all administrative duties.

You will be working in a busy environment and will need to handle a challenging workload; therefore excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative. In addition an excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people will be crucial.

To apply you must possess highly competent audio typing skills and have proven legal secretarial experience in a comparable position!
