Working for this organisation a service provider for professional services we are looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to join their membership department in Leeds on an 18 month fixed term contract.
This is a rare opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic person to join a small, friendly and highly professional management team, and to make a real difference to the service we offer our members.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Head of Membership Services, you will lead a team of eight membership advisers offering exceptional service to our UK and international members.
The team cover a wide range of responsibilities including payment processing, document production, handling telephone calls, standard and non standard correspondence, data collections and analysis and individual and group member applications.
You must have a proven track record as a team leader or supervisor ideally developed within banking, insurance or a similar service driven industry. A commitment to exceptional customer service and staff development is essential. You should be a motivated, self-starter who can manage and develop a broad based team of advisers. As such, you will have a hands on approach and be able to juggle day-to-day tasks, as well as planning long term strategy, project work and development of people and IT systems/software. This is a stimulating, diverse role that demands a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual.
You should have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be motivated by the responsibility the role requires. You will be expected to develop current systems and processes, and strive to provide a continually improving self service to members. Proficiency in MS word, Excel and Outlook is required and experience of statistical reporting would be an advantage. You should have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to demonstrate such in your current.
