Legal Cashier £19k

My client a well known and respected law firm in Leeds City Centre is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier...

You will be required to work as part of a supervised team providing a quality and professional legal cashiering service whilst complying with Solicitors Accounts Rules and other Professional Practice guidelines Duties will include: - Banking ( Client and Office accounts) including BACS and CHAPS automated payment and receipt systems Bill receipt Client to Office transfers Bill processing Bank account reconciliations Dealing with queries Processing disbursement ledger invoices Processing recharge invoices, mileage/photocopying etc. File amendment Journals and transfers Ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.

To apply applicants must have previous experience of working as a Legal Cashier, Elite practice management system and good working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules along with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
