Job Description
Welder Specification Requirements
At least 10 years experience in practical welding in the oil and gas or power generation or similar industries.
Experienced in:
-
· pipeline welding,
-
· using manual SMAW/stick and GTAW welding processes,
-
· welding high alloy steels using nickel based consumables
Highly desirable but not essential is welding of nickel alloy clad pipe.
Required are welder qualifications in these areas not over 1 year old.
GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
SMAW – Shielded Metal Arc Welding
3 – shifts – (6am – 2pm) , (2pm – 10pm) and (10pm – 6am)
Pay £16.50 p.hr
