Job Description
Collections Trainer
Based Leeds
Salary £20,000 - £23,000
JHR have been appointed to recruit for an experienced Collections Trainer on behalf of a leading Debt Recovery organisation.
The Company is well established in its sector, This position reports directly to the Collections Manager so this candidate will need to be a good communicator and in their abilities to perform such key duties. You will be working as part of a successful collections operation where you will be responsible for developing and deliver in-house new starter training programmes and provide regular refresher training to ensure staff are meeting the needs of the collections role.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to management and collections team for Debt Purchase and Contingency
Ensure new starters are inducted into the company
Develop and maintain a training plan for new collection staff which include role plays and collector tests
Manage new starters until they are ready to move to core collection teams
Develop and prepare training materials to maintain on-going training for existing collection staff
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of training
Work in conjunction with HR, communicate policies and procedures to managers and new employees as needed
Ensure training material is updated with the recent compliance alerts
Assist Team Leaders and Managers to ensure staff development
Create and hold training workshops to develop staff or tackle problem areas
Any other duties assigned by Managers
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience of delivering training within a compliance environment.
Highly motivated individual and a team player
Excellent relationship building skills.
The ability to work to short deadlines within a constantly changing environment is essential.
Good planning and organisational skills
Flexible approach to working hours.
