Job Description

Legal - Recoveries Agent Based Leeds £15-20k

Main duties: Make pro-active debt recovery telephone calls, to ensure that maximum collections performance is achieved. Administering out legal collections process with a view to obtaining repayment of our client's accounts in full. Dealing promptly with correspondence from the court to ensure the accurate recording of information. To update the database system accurately and ensure that the correct procedures are applied. Liaise with clients to take further instructions when complex issues arise.

Skills & Experience: Professional telephone collections technique. Excellent communication skills. Excellent negotiation skills, decision making and problem-solving abilities. Good keyboard skills. Enthusiasm and drive to succeed. Flexibility. Excellent time keeping. Ability to work in a busy environment. Team player. Strong common sense and self discipline. A minimum of at least 6 months experience of working in a debt recovery environment is absolutely necessary. Ideally a working knowledge and understanding of legal debt collection methods and practice. An awareness of the courts is desirable.
