Job Description

To be involved in all aspects of the plant.  

Apply Engineering theory and principles to identify, develop and install manufacturing system projects that will result in cost effective methods of manufacturing.

Recommend revision to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout or other changes to increase production or improve standards.

Determine and review new manufacturing technologies.

To develop and optimize plant layout, process flows and efficiency techniques

Set out and create the justification for new investments

Effective planning, directing and co-coordinating of all activities of maintenance.

To provide effective tooling, jigs and fixtures

To be involved as appropriate in new product development and introduction

To conduct work study exercises and compile time values across all manufacturing operations

To develop and maintain work instructions and appropriate training materials

Experience of Manufacturing Systems - Experience with Time Study/Structure/Methods - Experienced in Lean Methods - SAP exposure and experience preferred
