Job Description

We are a Leeds based Agency and our client a well established banking organisation are currently looking for committed candidates for their long term temporary positions within their collections department. These positions potentially could also become permanent

Part time evenings and weekends approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.

To contact customers in arrears & perform efficient & flexible customer- focused debt collection, to maximise the customer lifetime whilst minimising bad debt through inbound and outbound calling

Dealing with all outbound calls in a straightforward, professional and engaging way

To negotiate payment and re-educate the customer in how to become a better payer.

Using call centre systems competently to keep both customers’ accounts and own records accurately updated

Demonstrate commitment to achieving results, persisting in the face of obstacles & providing solutions that are right for both the business and our customers

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

Experience in a customer service environment ideally collections

Ability to negotiate and influence customers through discussion.

Ability to solve customers problems quickly

Work effectively as part of a team with the ability of building relationships at all levels

PC literate (Keyboard skills, Microsoft Office applications)
