Field Sales Consultant - Fire & Security Products
Leeds
£20,000 - £26,000 DOE (OTE £40,000 Uncapped) Plus Company Car Allowance, Mobile, Laptop, 25 Days\' Holiday plus Additional Benefits
Our client is the leading provider of electronic fire and security solutions. With a 4,500 strong team, they combine nationwide resources with a local presence. An opportunity has now arisen for a Field Sales Consultant to join their team.
This role would suit an ambitious sales professional with a technical background looking to develop their career and earning potential with a leading brand.
As a Field Sales Consultant you will be responsible for managing sales of our client\'s products and services to new and existing business. Targeting the SME marketplace, your focus will be on presenting our client as a credible and professional supplier of fire and security services, whilst maximising sales.
Upon joining, you will undergo a 10 week development programme - equipped to provide professional training on both our client\'s products and sales techniques. And once training is completed, you will then be allocated your specific territory.
This is a field based role that will see you identifying target enterprise market opportunities, and formulating the correct package from the company\'s portfolio, that includes intruder, fire, CCTV and access control products.
Your duties will include:
* self generating leads, for example networking, referrals and warm calling
* lead generation
* qualifying prospects
* building strong relationships with potential and existing customers
* creating appointments with customers to understand their business needs
* attending the company\'s office in order to process customer contracts and finalise administration
To be considered for this position, you must have business to business (B2B) sales experience and a technical background, such as IT, telecoms or security. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to self-generate sales leads combined with a successful track record of achievement.
Additionally, as the Field Sales Consultant you should be an exceptional communicator and presenter with the ability to create imaginative solutions and think outside the box. A results-driven approach, business acumen and strong customer focus, are also essential, as is a good level of computer literacy.
