Projects Audit Manager - c45-55k - West Yorkshire

If you are ACA qualified or equivalent or have industry experience within a large corporate environment then this is a perfect role for you. This household name client is currently recruiting an Internal Audit Manager with a Projects/change background or interest to perform reviews and report on the status of internal controls of various businesses units for the Group and lead in establishing and rolling out Group policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for: Providing the Business Units with support and enable them to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its operational standards; work with management to support and advise in the development and implementation of effective, practical and cost-effective solutions; group tools implementation; perform reviews and report on status of controls for finance policies and procedures and compliance; assist with the preparation and follow up of action plans; special reviews requested by Operations or Business Unit Directors; provide management assurance on the Group`s financial data and provide advice and assurance to Group and line management on key strategic decisions (eg on mergers and acquisitions, change, risk, disposal of businesses, major projects). You will play a lead on projects, principally in the areas of controls and procedures (initial control environment) and acquisition integration. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA preferably) with experience of working in large corporate plc environments such as Retail, Financial Services, FMCG or similar.
