Support Workers

Kirklees Supported Living Services
Full & part time hours available
£13, 180 - £15, 944 p.a. (pro rata)
You will be providing care and support to clients with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour; promoting independence and helping them get the most out of life. This will involve providing personal care and support; helping with household tasks; helping with shopping and budgeting, and supporting clients to attend leisure activities.
More important than experience is a caring and respectful attitude, as we provide ongoing training and support including funded NVQ training to level 3. Other benefits include a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, voluntary healthcare, and eligibility to join the local government pension scheme.
