Job Description
GRADUATE OPPORTUNITY / TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
LOCATION - This role is based in LS1
SALARY AND BENEFITS: Basic Salary Negotiable + generous commission structure
HOURS OF WORK: Monday – Friday 8.45 – 5.30pm (extended hours until 6.30pm on Wednesdays) please note that flexibility is required.

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have a passion for new business generation / B2B sales / telesales and ideally some previous work experience where skills can be transferred. YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
You will be a recent graduate who is seeking to pave a long term career within the recruitment industry coupled with the resilience and tenacity to succeed within a challenging and financially rewarding environment. This is primarily a new business role / resourcing role and therefore you must have the ability to build strong relationships and maximise sales at every opportunity – you will have an established database to work with along with a small proportion of established accounts to manage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for the following and full training will be provided:
Sales Activities
€¢ New business generation via cold calling and networking
€¢ Maximise and cross sell other services to existing clients
€¢ Meet sales/gross profit targets in line with quarterly target
€¢ Deal with speculative calls, aftercare and service calls
€¢ Client visits – new and service – identify and follow up business leads
€¢ Write proposal documents and tenders, negotiate fees and rates in line with Co policy and comply with approvals and discounts allowed and issue Terms of Business
Client Management
€¢ Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs
€¢ Qualify job specification / salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description – check info / client requirements in line with key processes and legislation
€¢ Gather info on client – decision maker and no of employees
€¢ Network internally and externally with clients
€¢ Benchmark for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity
Candidate Management
€¢ Candidate control – keep in regular contact to review progress and performance
€¢ Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct interviews
€¢ Coach candidates on interview skills / Skills testing
€¢ Promote the benefits of temporary work
€¢ Spec CVs / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in, Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client needs
€¢ Provide information to candidates on clients and job specifications for permanent jobs
Other
€¢ Manage own PDP
€¢ Ensure records are kept up to date and in line with legislative requirements
€¢ Demonstrate the JHR company values and competencies at all times
€¢ Any other duties as required
