Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced commercial insurance account handler to join this expanding organisation based in Leeds, you will hav whole or shared responsibility for handling a portfolio of insurances/clients. Administering clients accounts. Collating information and preparing risk presentations to obtain quotations through our preferred panel of insurers. Certain holders may have additional specialist functions, e.g. supervising other staff, product champions, etc.
To provide a quality service to clients covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements, including the administration of claims; to advise, arrange and secure the appropriate cover at a competitive premium.
Knowledge Required
Thorough understanding of FSA regulations and guidelines relating to commercial & retail customers
Knowledge of a wide rage of Commercial Insurance products including Commercial Combined, Liability, Contractors, Packages, Professional Indemnity
Own technical knowledge should equate with the CII Certificate in Insurance (CertCII) qualification.
Knowledge of all company specific procedures
Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally to the firm.
