Job Description

We are currently seeking a senior receptionist to join this professional services organisation based in the centre of Leeds, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the reception, supervising the reception team and ensuring a professional front of house service is maintained at all times.

Meeting and greeting visitors, showing them to the meeting rooms and ensuring they have refreshments Assisting with the organization of events including; liaising with the event organiser, to agree requirements Advise on appropriate rooms and make arrangements for equipment, food, refreshments as necessary. Ensure appropriate rooms have been booked for the event and are laid out properly and to a high standard. Assist with greeting guests, registration, coats, badges etc as required. Ensure reception, meeting rooms and kitchen always meet the highest standards. The preparation and presentation of meetings rooms prior to their use by internal and external guests, including layout and clearing of rooms after use. Process and manage meeting room booking requests, ensuring all relevant information i.e. client names/visitors and nature of meeting. The co-ordination of catering and refreshments for use in external facing rooms and, when requested, rooms being used for internal purposes. Ordering food and refreshments for use within meeting rooms, both internal and external, as required. Answering telephones, and ensuring that calls are placed with partners and staff in an efficient, courteous and timely manner. To have control of visitor/contractors swipe/entry cards Maintenance of card logs and collection of cards To help out with 'out of hours' events, if required, to ensure adequate support to organisers

Applicants must have experience of working as a senior receptionist within a professional services organisation, have a professional manner and excellent communication skills along with experience of supervising staff.
