The Opportunity:
Are you keen to develop your career and take advantage of expert training and coaching? Zurich now have a new opportunity as an Assistant Market Underwriter for a recent graduate to join our successful Leeds based branch focusing on Property business risks within the mid corporate market. As an Assistant Underwriter you will be working with our top tier brokers delivering first class customer service and supporting the team in underwriting, negotiating and servicing the business within authority limits. You will need to maintain productivity, quality and service standards whilst handling and positively resolving customer enquiries. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and produce prompt and quality documentation in line with company practice.
About you:
To be right for this role you will need to have gained a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a business related discipline, be customer driven and will need to possess excellent communication, negotiation and team working skills. An ability to cope with varying workloads and pressures is required combined with an enthusiastic, passionate and flexible approach to work.
