Job Description

You will provide secretarial/admin support to the team and absence cover to the wider Finance team. You will also:

  • Provide assistance to team members in the preparation (typing and graphics) of Powerpoint reports and pitch documents

  • Provide diary management and managing external party meetings

  • Type and amend letters and other documents as appropriate

  • Attend team meetings, take notes and action points as appropriate

  • Access the team's emails and deal with emails in their absence as appropriate

  • Build a strong working relationship with clients

  • Ensure the firm's client service standards are met

  • Deal with telephone calls, specifically ensuring that messages are taken clearly and efficiently and responded to in a timely fashion

  • Arrange and facilitate client meetings

  • Organise travel plans, including booking of travel tickets, hotel bookings etc

  • General admin duties including printing, scanning, photocopying and binding

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Display confidentiality and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive material

  • Possess an excellent telephone manner

  • Have good inter-personal skills

  • Show a positive approach to the role with a keen eye for detail

  • Work to tight deadlines and under pressure when required

You will have the following skills:

  • MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)

  • Advanced Powerpoint skills an advantage

  • Lotus notes (advantageous but not essential)
