Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Course Programme including course bookings and receiving customers.
They will also be:
Expected to support the sales and marketing programme.
Ensuring that course information and prospectus are sent out promptly.
Selling and booking courses on-line, by telephone and keeping correct records and maintaining the booking system in good order.
Selling merchandise via the Shop, maintaining stock control of merchandise, re ordering stock and managing on-line purchases.
Arranging and booking advertising space, organizing special offers and selling late availability spaces.
Welcoming customers, to ensure that they are well looked after throughout the day including provision of refreshments.
Working with the team on marketing, promotion and selling of the courses.
Assisting with and, when appropriate, leading on the organization of course open days and PR events.
Liaising with press/media enquiries.
The successful candidate will:
Possess excellent administrative skills including accurate word processing, databasing and reception duties.
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and professionalism in their work including meticulous attention to detail and maintenance of quality thresholds in all aspects of the IT work.
Be IT literate and possess audio visual knowledge (or be willing to be trained) to photograph, to operate audio visual equipment, record and document selected work, to prepare PowerPoint presentations.
Be punctual, flexible, enthusiastic and outgoing and able to work as part of a team, possess stamina, be good humoured, ultra-reliable and flexible.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to speak in public to a range of people including the general public, teachers, business and health professionals and managers.
Be scrupulously clean, smart and well-groomed at all times.
Be able to prioritize workloads and work independently when necessary.
Personal qualities are important and we require a very smart, professional, confident, outgoing, friendly, flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic team member with a good sense of humour and who pays great attention to detail.
