Job Description

Senior Collections Advisor - £17595 plus bonus and benefits - Leeds

Our client are a very well know financial business who are looking for very skilled collections advisors to join their secured arrears team.

We are looking for the very best collectors on the market place, and you will have at least one years experience in this sector.

Duties:

· Handle, and in some cases supervise, day-to-day tasks effectively as directed by your Team Leader.

· Work independently dealing with unique and complex tasks or processing complex queries as required· Provide clear, professional and well reasoned responses to mortgage & home loan related enquiries either in writing and/or by telephone and any other medium as directed by your Team Leader or Manager.

· Deliver and proactively assist other team members to deliver excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Achieve or exceed targets for issue resolution as defined by Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

· Ensure any complex issues are escalated through the appropriate channels, and followed through as required.

· Assist Team Leader with resolution of queries and escalated issues as required, ensuring set control parameters e.g. lending levels are adhered to.

· Assist Team Leader with compliance checking of lending policy & procedures.

· Provide support when required to Team Leaders and Managers with daily operational challenges.

· Contribute to your teams overall targets as directed by your Team Leader or Manager and help less experienced Agents to understand and meet the team targets.

· Provide coaching and buddying for new or less experienced staff within the team.

You will be an excellent negotiator, and be comfortable in speaking with customers in financial difficulty.
