We currently have a vacancy for a Procurement Administrator within Finance reporting into our Procurement Manager.
The main purpose of the role is to support the provision of an efficient procurement function to all areas of the business.
You will negotiate prices and liaise with suppliers and customers, fulfilling requirements from quotation to delivery and balancing the need to provide excellent service with cost effectiveness.
You will also review existing arrangements and identify and recommend new cost saving initiatives, including sourcing new suppliers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the stock replenishment process/stock management reporting and provide ad hoc support to the Procurement Manager as required.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be a confident and articulate individual who can work autonomously in negotiating with suppliers and managing customer expectations.
You will excel at time management and be able to reprioritise to meet changing business demands. Ideally, you will have previous procurement experience and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and Word) to an intermediate level. Previous experience of computerised purchase order systems would also be an advantage.
Whilst being based at our Bradford office, you may occasionally be required to travel to Halifax and will therefore need to hold a current full driving licence.
