Business Support Officer

My Client a search and selection recruitment agency in Leeds City Centre are looking for a business support officer to join their successful team. You will actively lead in ensuring that Executive Search assignments are delivered within the constraints of cost, quality and time.
Provide Partner/Consultant support through personal assistance; this may not be aligned to particular assignments. Be able to assist with discrete tasks when identified either internally or project focused.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end administration for an assignment, this includes managing and monitoring the agreed deadlines, including prompting consultants on various stages of the process.

Ensure the interface between the Business Support function and our clients and candidates is efficient and effective.

Deliver high quality client and candidate documentation and administration.

Monitor own work to ensure client and candidate expectations are being met.

Actively contribute to the delivery of assignments to improve client satisfaction.

Deliver best practice customer service and seek ongoing feedback on the quality of service.

Ensuring the quality, accuracy and efficiency of the whole Executive Search Process.

Improve their knowledge of Filefinder and database management.

Organise Partner / Consultant diary commitments to make most effective use of time including arranging meetings; interviews and other administration support.

Person Specification

Experience

Evidence of a clear understanding of best practice in administrative support

Experience of word, excel and other IT systems

Evidence of effective working in a pressured work environment with tight deadlines;

Experience of working in a people based service sector environment

Experience of audio typing (preferred but not essential)

Abilities, Skills and Knowledge

The ability to communicate effectively with clarity and confidence within the organisation.

Relationship building with others that encourages them to contribute to the effectiveness of the team.

Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to organise own workload to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Understand the priority and importance of work and to actively contribute to the development of assignments.

Undertake appropriate activities to participate in self-assessment, goal setting, assignment and personal reviews.

MS Office suite of tools.

Is able to access a range of internal and external electronic sources of knowledge to obtain relevant information

Personal Style and Behaviour

Personal and professional demeanour and integrity that maintains the confidence and trust of others, both internally and externally.

Self motivation, commitment and enthusiasm, not easily discouraged and willing to support changes when required.

Proactively make constructive recommendations on improving services that enhance own and others role to the benefit of the team.
