KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (ELECTRONICS / ENEGINEERING)
We are a leading provider of sophisticated electronic components, instruments & communications products, including defense electronics, data acquisition & communications equipment for airlines and business aircraft, monitoring and control instruments for industrial and environmental applications and components, and subsystems for wireless and satellite communications.
The Key Account Manager is front line contact for customers. Their aim is to maximise the sales opportunities within the market to ensure accurate, timely and professionally managed customer communication. The role is to adequately service and cover UK & worldwide customer account management and also to support the growth in the business development plan.
Main responsibilities for this role are:
*To promote and sell existing products.
*To recognize and generate new business opportunities with new and existing key accounts.
* Order budgets and forecasts -Business plans to be generated and achieved for each account.
* To generate reports including anticipated customer delivery dates and rates to enable accurate sales and budgets to be generated.
* To update monthly and yearly forecasts detailing expected orders.
* To ensure front line contact with all customers is maintained through personal
contact and to also organise and co-ordinate meetings.
* Reports and actions to be generated and published from the meetings.
* To promote the company's product and capabilities in the market place.
* To give full presentations to customers at the highest level detailing the Company, its products and services.
The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following requirements:
*Must have a good engineering background & good understanding of Microwave techniques/
knowledge and experience of electronics engineering.
*Must have at least 2 years experience working within a key account manager role.
*Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Must be a self motivated and driven individual.
*Must be flexible.
*Must be able to work under pressure.
*Must have a full clean driving licence.
*Must be prepared to travel worldwide.
The following requirements would be advantageous.
*Degree level qualification
*Min 2 years experience in defence related microwave, component, subsystem or system sales.
