My client needs talented people to join them on this journey and ensure they successfully deliver a major systems and process renewal programme, creating a business fit for the future.
There is a requirement for a Logistics Implementation Specialist on a nationwide WMS roll out programme. To flourish in this role you will need to understand the chosen WMS package and business processes designed to enhance the system; practically apply this understanding to each Warehouse installation, ensuring application of standard processes to meet our exacting operational requirements.
You will be an enthusiastic, technically gifted logistics expert and have a natural interest in systems, process optimisation and will be an effective trainer. Previous experience as a WMS systems Implementer is the type of background that would be of interest to us.
Through this role you will be part of a team, who will be responsible for:
Thorough user- acceptance testing.
Delivery of all pre-conversion criteria with specific- check points for progress and site readiness.
Delivery of standard training- and support material to specified site super users / management.
Support of- site generically and specifically the site super users.
Establishing new- working practices at all levels, ensuring removal of old process and practices where appropriate
Delivery of post implementation evaluation criteria and- key learnings per site
Effective communication skills are essential as you will need to present the system mechanics to targeted groups as a recognised subject matter expert, gaining the vital stakeholder engagement and ownership. Your role will have a major influence on the effective roll out of this WMS package. The ideal candidate must be mobile, adopt an analytical approach and possess vision, drive and integrity.
Previous exposure to a full project life cycle implementation would be a benefit to the applicant for this role.
