Very successful international firm operating within the food and FMCG industry (specialising in premium quality desserts) have an urgent requirement for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their efficient and forward thinking maintenance department.

THE ROLE:
As an extremely important cog in the success of the company’s production process, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance as well as breakdown and machine servicing duties.
Ideally you will be an electrically biased engineer, but your responsibilities will also include mechanical fitting maintenance work as well so your tasks will be challenging and varied. Working on bespoke, top of the range food manufacturing equipment you will bring drive and ambition to the role in order to keep the production facility as efficient and productive as possible.
The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who has worked in the FMCG or food production industries, with such equipment as fillers, baggers, weighers, metal detectors and also PLC driven machinery.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
> Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship/qualification.
> Flexibility to work shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off – 12 hour shifts, days and nights.
> Flexibility to occasionally cover other engineers’ sickness and absence.
> Maintenance engineering experience within a high speed, high production facility, ideally within a food or FMCG environment.
> Ambitious, driven and committed individual.
