THE COMPANY
My Sheffield based client has been providing engineering solutions to a diverse range of blue chip industries for over forty years and have recently undergone a successful transfer of ownership. The new management team has considerable engineering experience with a very pro-active outlook to the future growth of the company. Resulting from a sustained period of business growth we are looking to recruit the following position.

THE ROLE
This is a senior position within the company, reporting directly to the Operations Director. The position offers excellent future career prospects by enabling the successful candidate to take on a more senior role, combining their own estimating function, with that of the day to day operation and control of the Estimating and Sales Department. This would embrace discussion and agreement on enquiry selection and monitoring of enquiries issued to other estimators within the department (3/4 No) and telephone follow up of selected tenders.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Ideally the successful candidate will be qualified to at least HNC level in Production Engineering
*Be able to demonstrate an extensive background in the production of accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings. These would be covering a wide variety of both machining and fabrication work.

THE PACKAGE
*£35k + depending on experience
*33 Days holiday per year (25 days + 8 statutory)
