A new 50 cover Caribbean Restaurant, situated in Pudsey, currently undergoing a major refurbishment with a launch planned for November 2008 is seeking a General Manager to join the team and assist with the day to running of the business. The role will be on a part time basis to begin with and would suit a candidate with a young family or perhaps someone seeking more free time. This role will progress to full time as the owner takes a back seat, if this would suit the successful applicant.
As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the restaurant and will work hand in hand with the owner to ensure the ongoing success and profit generation of the business.
You must have a sound knowledge of restaurant management, be capable of recruiting, training and motivating your team, have high standards of presentation and hygiene, excellent commercial awareness and most importantly share the owner\'s goal of creating a unique Caribbean dining experience.
