THE ROLE:
This exciting opportunity for a proven accountant manager to implement their own experience and ideas into a market leading firm has been created due to continuing growth and expansion.
Based in the UK Headquarters in Nottinghamshire, as Accounts Manager you will take a leading role managing and strategically improving this busy accounts department. You will oversee the accounting function and ensure account treatment in line with UK GAAP which includes monitoring of postings, reconciliations and offer support where needed.
You will proactively manage and develop the invoicing, credit control and purchase ordering systems already in place and report directly to the company Managing Director.
This really is a rare and exciting opportunity for a proven accounts function manager to implement their ideas and experience and stamp their own authority on this position.
CANDIDATE EQUIREMENTS:
Essentially you will be a proactive and driven accounts manager with the ability to implement change within an accounts function. Having experience with Sage and Excel, knowledge of accounting for contracts (UITF 40) would be an advantage however not essential.
Ideal backgrounds will exist in Accounts Managers within the building services, facilities management or engineering sectors however suitable Accountant Management skills will be seriously considered from all other industries.
Most importantly what this role requires is a confident Accounts Manager who can lead an accounts team and report directly to the Directors of this established and still rapidly growing engineering firm.
