This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an IT developer to join our client’s small, close-knit team, based at their Leeds Office, to provide development and support to internal customers within the UK, Europe, Africa, America and Australasia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects through their whole lifecycle as well as contributing to projects delivered in conjunction with preferred development partners.
Out client’s IT development team create applications for both the Lotus Notes and Domino environment as well as web based Microsoft applications.
Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Work as part of a small team to develop new applications and maintain in-house and externally developed applications
Assist in the testing, implementation and hand-over of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
Be responsible for the transfer the operational management of applications to the IT support group globally
Support bespoke applications and manage user requests relating to bespoke applications Assist the technical support team with the administration of database servers
Assist the IT team with the development of internal tools for systems and user administration Change Management processes, which includes management of entire lifecycle – from planning, impact analysis to remedial actions.
Liaise with the IT teams and build positive working relationships with them
Duties will vary and be revised due to the nature of the IT environment

Core Technical Experience (Mandatory)
Experience of corporate database development using Microsoft SQL server, ASP.NET and Visual Studio.
Proven experience of client side WEB development using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript is essential
Proven experience of working on projects teams and reporting to a project manager
Core Technical Experience (Preferred, not essential)
Experience of Crystal Reports Development is desirable
Experience of development for Microsoft SharePoint Services and portal would be beneficial
Experience of using AJAX
