Role duties include:
· Act as a first point of call for information requests related to the programme or project and deal with service related information requests.
· Using the agreed project or programme plans to assist monitor the project milestones, contract milestones and project budget and assist collate the contract claims.
· Contribute to maintaining programme or project systems and processes, including ensuring there are accurate electronic and paper based files, collecting and collating project related information for analysis and reporting purposes.
· Support the programme and project managers by undertaking high level administration as requested including producing a wide range of documents such as reports, tables and presentations, preparing event packs, raising invoices and purchase orders etc.
· Assist in maintaining the contacts database
· Research and draft programme or project related information for the e-bulletin, external press, newsletters, case studies etc.
·Assist in taking forward the programme or project communications, stakeholder and marketing plans in consultation with the relevant team managers.
· Arrange project meetings and events, including booking venues, preparing meeting documentation, monitoring attendance and taking minutes.
Attend project related meeting where required at locations across the UK and provide an efficient and timely secretariat for Project Teams and Project Boards.
Essential Skills
* Educated to degree level or equivalent, with experience of using project management methods, systems and processes to support project delivery.
* Experience of working with external stakeholders
* Experience in financial processing, including budgets
* Competent administrator
* A willingness to travel across UK
Desirable Skills
* Accreditation in a project management method
* Experience of working with national government or public sector organisation
* Understanding of application of Prince 2 methodology to projects
Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
