Assistance with the delivery of the company's contractual obligations to time at profit in line with forcasts, particularly through the planning and supervision of labour.
Good Planning, organising, and man-management abilities and a pro-active approach to making things happen and capable of resolving conflicting demands. Responsibilities include:
Planning site visits, in accordance with direction from the contracts department. Ability to forsee and prevent problems before they occur.
Ensure that orderly efficient us is made of plant and materials and that they are provided and returned in a timely manner.
Responsibility for reporting back on site progress to the operations manager.
Relaying back from site all pertinent information to ensure proper use is made by management of plant, general resource and labour.
Liaise with necessary departments and people to achieve objectives, but excluding client contracts where these would normally be handled by the contracts department.
Attending site meetings when necessary.
Ensuring good contact is maintained with all relevant office staff and site operatives so that people are kept informed of present needs and future intentions.

Monitoring all aspects of site progress and reporting back as required
Monitoring, controlling and advising on the performance of operatives.
