    Business Development Manager
    Leeds/Manchester
    £25K-£30K basic plus commission

    Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced business development professional who will be responsible for launching a range of new and existing accredited and customised Management and HR programmes in the Leeds area.

    Our ideal candidate will:

    ·Demonstrate a strong commercial focus in the field of selling and promoting training and development programmes to new and existing customers and clients
    ·Be a strong team player and leader, as well as possessing a willingness and ability to work independently when required
    ·Manage and organise your own and others time and workload effectively. Influence others highly organised with a flexible approach to problem solving and implementation of new training and development ideas and strategies
    ·Have proven experience and credibility as a people oriented senior or line manager , within the public, private or voluntary sector

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    ·Negotiating and securing contracts with corporate clients for management development activities.
    ·Work closely with existing business developers within the exam based and corporate training arm of the business
    ·Develop links with appropriate employer/professional bodies to promote our clients activities
    ·Recruit individual clients on to management and/or CIPD programmes.
    ·Register candidates with accrediting bodies for professional awards, i.e. ILM and CIPD.
    ·Promote the organisation\'s brand in the north.
    ·Compile and carry out presentations to corporate and individual clients promoting products/services.
    ·Achieve sales targets and manage cost base in line with centre manager expectations
    ·Prepare sales and marketing strategies for expanding the organisation\'s activities in accordance with company expectations.
