Wednesdays 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, commencing 5 November 2008
A lecturer is required to work with the existing team of staff to teach Fine art on the second year of the National Diploma Art and Design course based at the city centre site. The post will involve planning, delivery and assessment of Fine Art briefs.
A relevant degree or equivalent and a teaching qualification or the commitment to obtain one within two years of appointment are all necessary, together with a proven understanding of contemporary fine art practice and relevant experience of teaching drawing, research and idea development at this level. Students from the National Diploma tend to progress directly to Higher Education courses and experience in helping students prepare for HE application is desirable.
