My client is an established wholesaler boasting many large high street retailers as it’s clients. The company has been in operation more than 40 years and is located in Bingley.
Due to continued expansion, my client requires a Commercial Account Manager to
manage existing client relationships, overseeing a successful supply chain.
The role
This is a full time, permanent position with the following responsibilities:
• Managing the administration of all customer account records, including customer stock trackers, often on customer interface systems
• Management and development of positive customer relationships, by telephone, e-mail and face to face meetings
• Management of client accounts within agreed budgets
• Liaison with the buying, despatch and stock co-ordination teams
• Monitoring delivery performance into the customer site
The successful candidate will
• Have experience of supply chain within a retail environment
• Have experience of account management
• Be a confident communicator
• Have experience of building trusting relationships, both internally and externally
• Be a good administrator with a keen eye for detail
• Be a persistent problem solver, offering practical solutions
• Be able to plan and organise workloads
• Be an effective manager, as while this position does not have any direct reports, tasks will require delegating and individuals motivating to achieve success
• Have excellent Excel skills
This is a role which is fast paced and requires someone who is able to multi-task and offer and manage solutions to potentially multiple issues at once.
