My client has been established since 1853 and with over 82 branches across the UK; it is one of the largest Building Societies in the UK.
As a Mortgage Advisor in our branch in Selby, you will be responsible for generating sales opportunities both face to face and on the telephone. You will be expected to welcome, customers help and assist them in order to build customer loyalty and maximise sales opportunities. An essential part of the role will be to deliver excellent customer service and conduct mortgage and insurance interviews. You will be expected to Keep up-to-date with the latest products and market developments so that accurate and useful information is given to customers.
You will undertake full product training so that you can recommend the most up to date and suitable products. In addition to performing banking transactions, there is also some related administration to include maintaining the company database.
Requirements:
Ideally, applicants will have experience of dealing with customers in a branch/sales environment and will possess excellent communication skills. You will have experience of working to targets, have strong sales skills and a be able to work as a team on your own initiative. You will be numerate, accurate and have a keen eye for detail.
All applicants must possess Maths and English GCSE's at Grade C or above and be fully PC literate.
In Return the company offer a basic salary of £18,000 - £20,000 dependant upon experience which increases with experience, uncapped commission scheme, pension, life assurance, 25 days paid holiday and other discounts such as childcare vouchers, hospital savings fund, staff discounts on savings accounts, designer uniform and a fantastic training course is provided for all new starters.
