The School of English is a large and successful academic department. You will be part of a team providing administrative support to the School, which has over 50 members of staff and 1000 students on its own programmes and a further 750 undergraduates taking modules from within the School.
The primary focus of this role is the maintenance of the School's undergraduate student records (both paper-based and electronic). As well as providing general clerical support, duties will include; monitoring student attendance; processing examination papers and inputting module marks; producing and processing student module questionnaires; photocopying and filing; and liaison with staff and students
Educated to GCSE level grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics, you will have excellent IT skills (MS Office applications) and experience of working in Higher or Further Education would be advantageous.
