THE COMPANY
A leader in the telecommunications industry with over 60 regional locations across the country. Our client provides products and services into local businesses. Based from the modern offices in Leeds you will be responsible for the West Yorkshire region which will include Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Halifax, Huddersfield, Harrogate and York.

ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be working on inbound calls only - there is NO cold calling involved. Your role will be to promote and sell from the business portfolio, approaching opportunities with a friendly and genuine manner.

Working in the heart of Leeds City Centre within this national based organisation you will be a part of a busy and thriving internal sales team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
*Approaching your customers in a genuine and friendly way to give them confidence in the business and services offered
*To show interest in the customer's needs in order to obtain an understanding of their situation
*Establish a professional relationship and ensure they are given a clear description of the products and services on offer
*Explore ways to overcome customer objections upon which the customer is happily prepared to commit to buy
*To complete all sales administration to set deadlines
*Building pipeline, managing pipeline and diarising key phone calls
*Account management of existing clients
*Making appointments for field sales reps
*Closing business deals over the telephone
*Providing quotes

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you should be a confident speaker and able to build relationships over the telephone.

Solid experience within a telesales, telemarketing, customer service, collections or call centre role is essential.

You will be the type of person who has the ability to work to targets with strong self-motivation skills.

You should have excellent computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
