Leeds City Centre is one of the most successful and exciting city centres in the UK, and accordingly, Leeds City Council is keen to secure its continued success as a vibrant, attractive, and safe city centre that is accessible to all.
Our City Centre Liaison Team is key to this success, providing a uniformed presence in the heart of the city centre.
As part of the team you will advise, help and support businesses, visitors, residents and shoppers alike. You will also work closely with Council Departments and external agencies in helping to identify solutions to a variety of issues affecting the City Centre environment, collecting and recording information as required.
We wish to recruit two City Centre Liaison Officers to join our team:
One full-time permanent position
One full-time temporary position until 31st March 2009.
Your can do attitude and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people is key to this role. You must be able to work well as part of a team, and on your own initiative. You must be able to work flexible shift patterns.
These posts are subject to an Enhanced Level Check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
