Temporary – Ongoing Assignment
Celsian Education (agy) are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Urdu for a rapidly improving West Yorkshire School. The post is ongoing and the school are keen to appoint ASAP!!!
The School is at an exciting stage of its development, having seen vast overall improvement in recent months. Therefore the school are keen to appoint a Teacher of Urdu who will want to make a valuable contribution to all aspects of the school’s continuing improvement.
You will inherit a full time timetable of mixed ability sets of year 7 to year 11 pupils (Key stage 3 and key stage 4). You will take full responsibility for all planning, preparation and marking. You may be required to partake in extra curricular activities – especially leading up to exam time.
Working within a small languages department, you will be joining a forward thinking, close knit team. The department have recently been updated with new facilities and you will have access to a shared office.
You will be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all students to reach their full potential. You must be an excellent classroom practitioner and be experienced at managing poor behaviour. You must also demonstrate an element of passion towards your subject area. You will hold QTS (or UK NARIC equivalent), have experience of teaching Urdu within secondary schools up to GCSE level and have a full understanding of the national curriculum. You must be motivated and demonstrate a positive attitude to teaching.
The school is based to good road & rail links & is easily accessible from Wakefield, Leeds & parts of Kirklees.
